How to maintain the precision engraving machine of knife die after use?

Knife precision engraving machine is a high-precision machining equipment, and its maintenance directly affects the engraving accuracy, service life and production efficiency. Maintenance after use should start from cleaning, component inspection, lubrication, system maintenance and other aspects, and the specific operations are as follows:

First, the overall cleaning of the equipment

Clean table top and engraving area.

Use a high-pressure air gun to purge the debris (especially sawdust, metal powder, etc.) around the table top, guide rail, screw rod and engraving head to avoid residual impurities scratching the guide rail or blocking parts.

If the carving material is sticky (such as rubber), it is necessary to wipe the countertop with a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent to remove residual glue stains, and then dry it with a dry cloth to prevent the countertop from corrosion.

Cleaning of protective cover and shell

Wipe the equipment shell and protective cover regularly to avoid dust accumulation affecting heat dissipation and keep the equipment clean and tidy.

Second, the key parts inspection and maintenance

1. Carving tool and chuck

Tool disassembly and cleaning: remove the tool, wipe the blade body with special detergent or alcohol to remove cutting residue; Check whether the cutting tool is broken or worn, and replace it in time if it is damaged, so as to avoid affecting the engraving accuracy.

Maintenance of chuck: clean the dust and debris in the chuck, check whether the chuck is loose or deformed, ensure that the tool is firmly installed and prevent the tool from shaking during processing.

2. Guide rail and screw rod

Cleaning: use soft cloth or brush to clean the dust and debris on the guide rail and screw rod, so as to prevent impurities from entering the inside of the slider or nut, resulting in wear or jamming.

Lubrication: add special lubricating oil (such as guide rail oil and screw grease) to the guide rail (linear guide rail) and screw rod regularly according to the requirements of the equipment manual to ensure smooth movement; Pay attention to avoid excessive oil overflow and pollution of the workbench.

3. Drive motor and transmission parts

Check whether the motor connecting wire is loose and whether the interface is oxidized. If there is oxidation, wipe it with alcohol.

Check the tightness of transmission parts such as synchronous belt and gear. If the synchronous belt is slack, adjust the tension according to the standard to prevent transmission slippage from affecting the positioning accuracy.

4. dust collection system

Clean up the debris in the vacuum cleaner, check whether the dust suction pipeline is blocked, ensure the dust suction effect, reduce the dust pollution during processing, and protect the internal components of the equipment.

Third, the electrical system and control system maintenance

Power failure inspection: Before maintenance, it is necessary to turn off the power supply of the equipment and unplug it to ensure safety.

Inspection of lines and interfaces: Check whether the power lines and data lines are damaged or aging, and whether the interfaces are loose. If there is any problem, replace or fasten them in time to avoid short circuit or signal transmission failure.

Control system cleaning: use high-pressure air gun to purge the dust in the control cabinet (especially the cooling fan and circuit board) to prevent the components from overheating and damage caused by dust accumulation; It is forbidden to wipe the circuit board directly with a wet cloth.

Software maintenance: back up control system parameters regularly to avoid parameter loss caused by misoperation; If the equipment is connected to a computer, it is necessary to ensure the normal operation of the operating system and engraving software, and update the officially released firmware or driver in time (it is necessary to follow the instructions to avoid wrong upgrade).

Fourth, the auxiliary system maintenance

Cooling system (such as water-cooled spindle)

If the spindle is water-cooled, check the coolant level regularly and replenish the special coolant (or distilled water to avoid using tap water to prevent scaling);

Replace the coolant regularly (usually once every 3-6 months), and clean the water tank and water pipes to prevent scale or impurities from blocking the cooling circuit and affecting the heat dissipation of the spindle.

Pneumatic system (if any)

Check the air source processor (filter, pressure reducing valve, oil mist eliminator), drain water regularly (drain valve at the bottom of filter), and replenish the lubricating oil in the oil mist eliminator to ensure the normal operation of pneumatic components (such as jaws and cylinders).

Five, long-term downtime maintenance

If the equipment needs to be stopped for a long time (more than one week), the following precautions should be taken:

Thoroughly clean all parts of the equipment, especially the moving parts such as guide rails and screw rods, and apply antirust oil;

Disassemble the cutter and store it in a special cutter box;

Turn off the power supply, unplug the plug and cover the dust cover to prevent dust and moisture from entering the equipment;

Power on the equipment regularly (every 2 weeks) for 10-15 minutes, so that all components can move slightly, so as to avoid jamming or rust caused by long-term static parts.

Six, daily maintenance records

Establish a maintenance ledger to record the time and content of each maintenance (such as cleaning, lubrication, component replacement, etc.) and the running state of the equipment, so as to trace back the problems and make the follow-up maintenance plan.

Through the maintenance measures of the above system, the failure probability of the knife die precision engraving machine can be effectively reduced, its high-precision machining performance can be maintained, and the service life of the equipment can be prolonged. When maintaining, strictly follow the requirements of the equipment manual, and use special tools and consumables to avoid equipment damage caused by improper operation.
