Brief introduction: installation and debugging process of special bottom die machine for knife die

The installation and debugging process of the special bottom die machine for knife dies should follow the principle of "safety first and step-by-step verification", and the core is developed around four modules: equipment fixing, circuit gas connection, precision calibration and trial operation. The specific process is simplified as follows:

First, preliminary preparation: confirm the basic conditions

Site and environment inspection

Ensure that the ground in the installation area is flat (bearing capacity ≥ the rated weight of the equipment, usually ≥500kg), free of dust, oil stains and vibration sources (such as large machine tools), and reserve equipment operation space (around ≥1.5m).

Confirm that the interface positions of power supply (usually 380V three-phase AC, which needs grounding) and gas supply (0.6-0.8MPa compressed air, dry and free of impurities) are suitable for the equipment.

Inventory of equipment and accessories

After unpacking, check whether the main engine, bottom die fixing components, circuit/gas pipeline, calibration tools (level gauge, dial gauge), instructions, etc. are complete, and check the appearance of the equipment without bumping and deformation.

Second, the core steps of installation: fixation and connection

Equipment positioning and fixing

Move the main engine to the preset position with a forklift or crane, adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the equipment, calibrate the table top of the main engine with a level gauge (vertical and horizontal horizontal error ≤0.1mm/m), lock the leveling foot nut after calibration, and fix it with foot bolts if necessary (to prevent vibration displacement during operation).

The circuit is connected with the gas path.

Circuit: A professional electrician shall connect the power cord (distinguish live wire, neutral wire and ground wire to ensure that the grounding resistance is ≤4Ω), connect it to the control box, and check the insulation of the line before electrifying to avoid short circuit.

Gas path: connect the compressed air pipe to the gas path interface of the equipment, seal the joint with sealant tape, open the gas valve to drain the impurities in the pipeline, and check whether the cylinder and solenoid valve are leaking.

Third, the key link of debugging: accuracy and function calibration

Installation and positioning calibration of bottom die

Fix the bottom die to be processed (such as wood board and rubber board) on the positioning fixture of the equipment workbench, and adjust the position of the bottom die through the "positioning reference line" or dial indicator provided by the equipment to ensure that the parallelism error between the edge of the bottom die and the processing path of the equipment is ≤ 0.05 mm.

Tool/Machining Parameter Settings

Install a special bottom die cutter (such as a milling cutter), check the clamping firmness of the cutter, and set the machining depth (0.1-0.2mm allowance is usually reserved according to the thickness of the bottom die), feed speed (initially set to a low speed, such as 500mm/min) and rotation speed (refer to the cutter material, usually 3000-6000r/min) through the equipment operation panel.

No-load test run and accuracy verification

Without entering the bottom die, start the equipment to execute the "idle running program", observe whether the running path of the tool is consistent with the preset trajectory, and check the smoothness of table movement and tool lifting, without jamming or abnormal sound.

Load the scrap bottom die for trial cutting. After cutting, measure the groove width and depth of the bottom die with calipers, and compare with the design value. When the error exceeds the limit, fine-tune the processing parameters (such as depth compensation and path deviation) through the operation panel.

IV. Closing and acceptance: Confirm stability.

functional test

Test whether the safety functions such as emergency stop button, safety door interlock (the equipment needs to be stopped immediately when opening the door) and fault alarm (such as insufficient air pressure and overload) are effective.

Continuously process 3-5 standard bottom dies, check the dimensional consistency of each product (error ≤0.1mm), and confirm that the equipment runs stably.

Training and documentation

Explain the daily operation of the equipment, parameter adjustment and simple troubleshooting (such as tool wear and replacement, gas leakage treatment) to the operators.

Record installation and debugging data (such as water level, processing parameters and trial cutting accuracy), file instructions and parts list, and complete acceptance.

Precautions: The whole process should be carried out by personnel with equipment operation qualification. Before electrifying and ventilating, make sure that safety protection measures are in place to avoid the risk of electric shock and mechanical pinch.
